Mads Bruun Paulsen

Mads Bruun Paulsen (PhD) started his PhD position at CIC December 1st and is supervised by Markus Jochum. He will focus on Southern Ocean eddies and winds and their influence on the AMOC strength, as well as oceanic signal propagation. He has a background in physical oceanography, Southern Ocean dynamics and climate modeling from the Niels Bohr Institute and Scripps Institution of Oceanography, but has also previously spent time at DMI validating forecasts of sea ice drift as a student assistant.
